Purpose of this position is accountable for the delivery of in country Launch Excellence activities. Their main priorities are to identify scope and timing of critical activities, insure adequate resourcing for the scope and partner with category Med. Affairs Lead to deliver a successful launch. Areas of focus for launch excellence PM will include stakeholder management, driving deliverables and cross functional partnerships.
- This role resides within the Medical Excellence function and will partner Regional Medical teams.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- To create a project plan focusing on Medical Launch activities that are aligned with the overall commercial launch plan in regards to deliverables, timeliness and resources.
- Coordinate the project team to identify the necessary launch activities through a team kick off meeting with necessary stakeholders.
- Manage the project plan with the cross functional team through communication, team meetings to drive deliverables.
- Work with each of the leaders to define and communicate metrics and efficiencies to stakeholders including EM Leadership.
- Identify risks to the Launch Excellence Project Plan, create a mitigation plan and implement as necessary.
- Collaborate with country on the value proposition of the launch product and development of the medical narrative in data research
- Identify best practices in Medical Launch Excellence and share them in a Launch Excellence Forum

Supervision:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Training & Education:

- Bachelor's degree in one of the disciplines related to drug development or business required. Advanced degree (PhD, PharmD, MBA) desirable.
- 3 or more years of relevant experience

Prior Experience/Skills desired:

- Track record of performance on cross-functional teams and results through effective implementation of project management methodology, tools, and techniques.
- Knowledge and experience in drug development, medical, and/or commercial disciplines with proven performance in business performance and project delivery.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, interpersonal, communication, and meeting facilitation skills.
- Experience with stakeholder management, governance management, and communicating key messages to senior-level stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to utilize project management tools and techniques (such as developing integrated project plans, critical path management, project change control, project risk management, and decision analysis).
- Familiarity with clinical trial execution, working with contract research organizations, budget management, and related areas highly desirable.
- Proven ability to succeed in a fast-paced, challenging and complex matrix team environment.
Displays flexibility, problem-solving, and resourcefulness to drive path forward in ambiguous and constrained circumstances.
- Understands and has demonstrated ability to manage a budget; history of staying on or under budget.
