**BAT COSTA RICA IS LOOKING FOR A R2R TEAM LEADER**

**SENIORITY LEVEL**:Non-management

**FUNCTION**: Finance

**SALARY RANGE**:Competitive Salary + Excellent benefits + Market leading bonus

**LOCATION**:Heredia, Costa Rica

**ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES**
- Participate in the monthly general ledger closing process and responsible for preparing pension and postretirement accounting journal entries and analyses.
- Responsible for consolidated pension and postretirement reporting.
- Responsible for performance and documentation of various internal controls.
- Partner with other corporate functions, such as Tax, Treasury, HR, and LEX.

**Reports to**:Pension & Benefits Accounting Assistant Manager

**Reporting Level**:No direct reports

**Geographic Scope**:USA

**WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR**
- Tasks processed within SLA agreed with end market.
- KPIs are met and differences are managed effectively.
- Achieve a high degree customer satisfaction.
- Prepare documentation and financial statements for employee benefit plan audits.
- Create Process Documentation and review and keep updated existing documentation.
- Assist other team members as needed.
- Develop, suggest, and implement new procedures to ensure efficiency and effective operation of processes.
- Communicate with stakeholders by solving issues, providing guidance, and promoting a customer-oriented culture.

**CAN THIS BE YOUR FUTURE ROLE?**
- Do you have advanced English Level?
- Do you have intermediate
- advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programs?
- Do you have 3- 5 or more years of experience in accounting, preferably a combination of public and industry?

**ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE**.
- 3- 5 or more years of experience in accounting, preferably a combination of public and industry.
- Strong excel skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Detail oriented.
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
- Maintain a proactive attitude*
- SAP Knowledge.
- Full command of MS Office.
- Fluent in English -C1.
- Technician/Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Management.

**BENEFICIAL**
- Knowledge in transactional platforms.
- Shared service center experience.
- US Payroll and/or Benefits/Pension Accounting experience preferred.
- US GAAP/US Corporate/Commercial Finance & Accounting experience.
