**About the Role**:
**What you will be doing**:

- Java architect to examine, define, and integrate the software architecture
- Identify the hardware and software infrastructure needed to accommodate Appvance’s architectural goals
- Troubleshoot design flaws and system bottlenecks
- Perform validations tests to ensure the flexibility and scalability of the Java environment
- See the big picture needs of the company and translate them into the architecture
- Perform system performance tests and complete system reports

**About you**:

- 4+ Years hands-on experience using Java
- Knowledge of design patterns, data structures and run time efficiency
- Understanding of GIT versioning tool
- Experience with JavaScript, Spring Boot, Python
- Experience with test-driven development
- Knowledge of testing tools: Junit, Jmeter, TestNG, Selenium.
- Functional knowledge of iOS and/or Android platforms
- Experience developing web services and REST APIs
- Creative thinking and strong problem-solving skills
- Must be fluent in English

**Bonus if you have**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering or equivalent experience
- Scrum knowledge
