Cti-infrastructure Solutions Architect Lead

Requires good analytical skills to take complex requirements from multiple sources and break them down into simple process steps or tasks, including the ability to communicate this breakdown to key stakeholders. Regularly takes on a leadership role when asked to coach junior architects within the team, about solution architects’ tasks and responsibilities, or by educating key stakeholders who may be new to what a solution architect does. Is confident in leading discussions for projects from simple to complex, small to large, local to global. **Responsibilities**: - Develop comprehensive infrastructure designs that incorporate strategic target state architecture and standards to maximize performance, capacity, and minimize total cost of ownership. - Translate complex and sometimes ambiguous business requirements into sound technical solutions. - Provide technical leadership and be responsible for developing components of, or the overall systems design. - Develop or update comprehensive DR strategies by recommending specific tools strategies, and solutions meet internal or regulatory requirements. - Keep up to date with emerging technologies and recommend business directions based on these technologies. - Educate the business representatives, engineering teams, build, and support teams on standards, processes, and tools. - Drive client satisfaction by identifying and developing process improvement and automation initiatives while ensuring compliance of solutions to operations roadmap. - Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets. - Understand the financial aspects of technology ROI / TCO when designing a solution, taking cost savings into account. **Qualifications**: - 5+ years of hands-on experience providing technical leadership in the design of highly complex systems across on-prem, or public cloud platforms. - Proficiency with administering both Linux and Windows OS, and the underlying infrastructure they can run on. - Experience with performance modeling, capacity analysis, and planning. - Knowledgeable on a variety of platforms like storage, Web, middleware, databases, Security, Network, virtualization, and containerization. - Familiar with container platforms and management; Docker and Kubernetes. - Understanding of data platforms for structured and unstructured data, fault tolerance and high availability. - Knowledge with infrastructure requirements for structured and unstructured data stores. - Familiar with Infrastructure as Code (IaC). - Technical certifications showing a pattern of continuous professional development will be a plus. **Critical Competencies**: - Strong and effective communication skills to guide meetings, provide direction, conduct presentations, while interfacing with business sponsors and executive leadership. - Ability to enforce the architecture solution by influencing decisions through advice, counsel, or facilitating services. - Self-starter with ability to take the initiative and master new technology quickly - Demonstrate composed analytical thought to resolve issues in high pressure situations. - Knowledgeable on IT Architecture Frameworks, IT Service Management, Project Management, and Software Development Life Cycle. - Fluent in English to drive clear and concise written and oral communication for technical concepts to non-technical audience. **Education**: - Bachelor’s/University degree or Equivalent Experience. - **Job Family Group**: Technology - **Job Family**: Infrastructure - **Time Type**: Full time - Citi is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
