**Your Role and Responsibilities**

What We're Looking For

You love solving problems and enjoy learning new technologies. You have 2+ years supporting end users, as well as, providing CITRIX / AVD Support. You have developed a strong practical understanding of VDI Infrastructure layers and Citrix

Core Responsibilities:

- Troubleshoot and resolve VDI/Citrix issues by providing tier 2/3 incident ticket support
- Perform daily VDI /CITRIX administration, maintenance and upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations
- Develop plans for deploying and administering virtual machines, images, and virtual apps
- Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability
- Utilize Azure Site Recovery for disaster recovery failover
- Participate in after-hours on-call support rotation
- Advanced troubleshooting skills and identify the severity of the issue, Ability to Resolving issues quickly to account/customer satisfaction and Prepare RCA, ITIL knowledge.
- Serve as a technical resource for infrastructure initiatives that require virtual machine and VDI expertise
- Provision the required RBAC roles in Azure AD.
- Configure apps and desktops host pools for users
- Collaborate with operational counterparts to support and discover opportunities for improvement via automation, process improvements, etc
- Achieves and adheres to established Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators
- Ensure the work performed meets the quality standards within acceptable time schedules and customer commitments

**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**
- 2+ years of strong experience doing real-world work as a VDI Engineer
- Azure Cloud experience
- Experience configuring/managing Azure IaaS & PaaS technologies such as Subscriptions, Storage Containers, VNET, NSG's, Storage Explorer & Cost/Billing management.
- Good understanding of network connectivity to Azure ExpressRoute
- Experience with on-prem to cloud VDI replication and DR strategies - Azure Site Recovery, etc
- Experience with Azure Active Directory - Group Policy Design & Architecture
- Hands on experience with performance monitoring and alerting for cloud workload instances
- Extensive experience with automation leveraging Azure CLI, PowerShell, to automate and simplify tasks
- Possess a detailed understanding of architectural dependencies of a VDI environment
- Must be hands on Microsoft Technologies (Intune Auto pilot, SCCM, ATP Defender, SCCM, WVD, Windows 10)
- Experience with Citrix technologies, configuring and managing complex Citrix environments containing XenApp, XenDesktop, NetScaler, Storefront, Firewalls, and other supporting technologies
- Advanced Knowledge and work Experience on Citrix Provisioning Server
- Updating and Maintaining Golden Images/Templates.
- Managing Provisioning services - Site Services with High Availability; vDisk Management; Write-Cache Location Management; Device Collections
- Basic Knowledge and work Experience on Citrix Netscaler
- Virtual Switch Configurations

**Preferred Technical and Professional Experience**

Excellent understanding on at least 4 areas amongst the below:

- Windows Virtual Desktops
- Azure
- Azure active Directory / Active Directory
- Intune & Autopilot
- Software Distribution / Lifecycle management tools like SCCM
- Desktop Virtualization
- Application Packaging & Imaging
- Scripting / Powershell

Certifications: MCSE/MCSA, Microsoft 365 Certified, Azure Certified, Citrix
