**Role and Responsibilities**:
- As Manager drive quality improvements in the org such as 1) improving Automation; 2)Improving quality and engineering excellence(outside of testing related activities) - Build QA mechanisms/processes to prevent recurrence - Coach and mentor developers on the team for quality practices and hold them accountable to the highest quality standards. - Define test metrics, lead automation efforts and constantly explore new test automation tools and methods.
**Qualifications and Education Requirements**:
Bachelor's Degree Computer Science or equivalent technical field; or equivalent experience
**Preferred Skills**:
- 5+ years of proven experience as Quality Manager, people manager, QAE, SDET, or SDE - 5+ years of experience writing, troubleshooting, and debugging code in at least one modern programming language such as Python, Java, Scala - Strong knowledge of QA methodology and tools, with demonstrated experience in a Quality Manager role leading a group of Quality Engineers - Communication and leadership skills to mentor, coach and build a quality of culture in the team
