We have an exciting opportunity for a Banking Payments Investigator to join Convera

Your role

Your duties will include the following:

- Identify payment related issues and provide quality customer service in order to facilitate effective identification and resolution of customer and banking enquiries.
- Tracking and reporting on daily investigations related activity and keep Salesforce queue up to date
- Acknowledge all inquiries same day of receipt.
- Actively identify, escalate and reduce recurring client inquires.
- Provide support to Treasury and Settlement Accounting team members to resolve queries and/or facilitate customer transactions.
- Manage and respond to a large volume of payment investigations.
- Knowing when to escalate difficult or time-consuming inquires to manager.
- Involve other teams in payment related issues when necessary (e.g. Compliance, AR, Client Credits etc.).

You’ll ideally have the following:

- At least 1 year experience within the financial services industry.
- Ability to multitask, work accurately and independently to process large volumes of inquiries within defined timelines.
- Proven ability to maintain high level of confidentiality.
- Strong computer skills.
- Demonstrated strong work ethic.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Problem solving and decision making skills - mathematical and analytical ability preferred.
- Fluency in English (essential)
