Senior Salesforce Solution Engineer
Responsibilities- Responsible for design of business-critical Salesforce solutions that adhere to platform best practices and meet/exceed customer expectations. Typical Salesforce implementations include custom platform development (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, JavaScript, data models, creating workflows, and configuring custom objects and fields), integrations with back-office systems (using MuleSoft, middleware and API’s) and complex data migrations- Work with business product owners to assess business requirements and translate those into customized & scalable solutions using the Salesforce platform-
- Review solutions and ensuring that the Salesforce solutions are scalable and perform optimally (even during high volume periods), are secure and meet compliance requirements.- Provide detailed level of effort estimates for proposed solutions with other team members. Articulate the benefits and risks to a solution's feasibility and functionality-
- Negotiate solutions to complex problems with both the product teams and third-party service providers- Partner with the Support Operations team to ensure considerations for long-term support requirements are identified for all new solutions- Evaluate new technologies that can improve the Salesforce solutions and recommend changes or additions as needed, staying up to date with the latest trends and best practices.- Implement and maintain DevSecOps practices using tools such as Copado, AccelQ, and Automation, ensuring security is integrated into all stages of the software development lifecycle.
Basic Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Computer Science, Engineering or related field- 7+ years of relevant technical experience with minimum 2 years of Salesforce Architect experience- At least 2 Salesforce Certifications (preferred PD I, PD II, Advanced Administrator )- Experience developing custom and declarative solutions using Salesforce framework and technology stack-
- Experience with Continuous Delivery of complex Salesforce solutions. Follow established Salesforce development standards and best practices- Strong interpersonal skills and experience communicating with technical and non-technical audiences. Ability to adapt to changing working conditions and work assignments.
Preferred Qualifications- Additional Salesforce Certifications that may include Administrator, Advanced Administrator, Sales Cloud Consultant, Platform App Builder, Platform Developer I, User Experience Designer, System Architect, or Application Architect- Technology certifications such as Copado, GitHub, Test Automation Tool Suites (e.g. Pytest, Selenium, AccelQ)- Agile trainings and certifications such as Scrum Master, Product Owner, Scaled Agile SAFE- Working knowledge of Salesforce Health Cloud, Patient Connect product, systems within the Patient Services functions #LI-PFE
