Material Analyst

This role has been designated as ‘Edge’, which means you will primarily work outside of an HPE office.Our new innovative IT services organization is HPE Pointnext. We have the expertise to advise, integrate, and accelerate our customers’ outcomes from their digital transformation.

This person needs to understand Supply Chain processed and get involved in diverse analysis to understand operational trends that will impact AMS P&L. Diverse background in Inventory Management. Responsible of day-to-day operations related to backlog and a variety of tasks related to Supply Chain spare parts lifecycle to ensure efficiency. Also acts as a Liaison between the Geo Organization and Global operational teams. Engage in cross-functional, and cross regional team, looking for efficiencies and standardization on regional processes. This person needs to be a self-driving person that can develop and innovate analysis and reports with short information, using all data sources available. Be innovative on developing new tools, reports and data analysis that will help Material Management better understand the day to day financial and operational trends.

**In a typical day as a **Material Management Analyst **you would**
- Perform different analysis providing root causes and suggesting possible solutions
- Work with all members within the team to understand the processes
- Identifies opportunities for process improvement and leads/develops recommendations and provides insight for management.
- Defines and reviews performance metrics on a regular basis, identifying opportunities for improvement actions to address.

**If you are**
- Very strong analytical skills.
- Excellent understanding of supply chain processes ( is a plus)
- Extensive knowledge of Excel (expert level), PowerPoint, Access, and high-level modeling tools.
- Very strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills; mastery in English and local language.
- Developed business acumen, including understanding of the company's overall business model.
- Ability to Multitask independently and Prioritize based on Urgency and deadlines
- Understands the concepts of Planning, purchasing, and Cost Management
- Knowledge in finance is a plus

**Soft skills**: Respectful, responsible, proactive, data driven, self-driven, team work and task oriented.

**Education Required**:
Excel experience (intermediate level or above)

Typically 4-6 years of experience in a supply chain function is a plus
