Marketing Strategist

**Responsibilities**:
- Conduct market, competitor, and product or service offer analysis to identify trends and opportunities that inform marketing strategy development.- Collect and analyze post-event data to assess the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and make recommendations for improvement.- Conduct campaign analysis to measure the impact of marketing campaigns on business objectives and adjust strategies as needed.- Work closely with the VP and Director of Marketing to develop marketing strategies that align with business goals and objectives.- Conduct surveys to gather customer feedback and insights that inform marketing strategy development.- Conduct competitive analysis to assess the competitive landscape and make recommendations for improving our market position.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.- 5+ years of experience in marketing strategy development, with a focus on market analysis, post-event and campaign data and analysis, offer development, surveys, and competitive analysis.- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect and analyze data to inform marketing strategies.- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.- Ability to travel to tradeshows and customer visits as needed.- Need for flexibility due to global nature of role and different time zones that role will support.- Ability to demonstrate a strong sense of urgency and must be team player given the cross-department requirements. Ability to work closely with the VP and Director of Marketing to develop marketing strategies that align with business goals and objectives.
