Position Overview
:The Amazon Advertising Strategist is a performance-driven operator responsible for owning the full lifecycle of Amazon PPC strategy, execution, and optimization across assigned brands. This role goes far beyond campaign management. The strategist is expected to interpret data at a deep level, identify meaningful trends, and leverage internal and external tools to stay ahead of the market.

You will manage budgets with precision, forecast spend and performance, and ensure all KPIs align with the revenue and margin goals set by the Brand Manager. This includes hands-on ownership of Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Sponsored Display, along with responsibility for structuring campaigns, monitoring efficiency, and adjusting strategy proactively based on real-time data.

The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and capable of turning raw data into clear recommendations. You should thrive in fast-moving environments and be comfortable maintaining a high level of accuracy across multiple brands while consistently pushing performance forward. This role is central to revenue growth for our clients and requires someone who can think strategically, execute with discipline, and communicate with clarity.

Key Responsibilities
:

  1. Campaign Creation
    : Create and implement Amazon PPC campaigns, including Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Sponsored Display ads, based on the strategy set by the Account Manager.
  2. AMC Data:
    Strong understanding of how to allocate campaigns, budgets, and targets within these campaign types, and a clear grasp of how they operate within the Amazon advertising ecosystem.
  3. Keyword Research
    : Conduct keyword research to identify high-potential keywords for PPC campaigns, following guidelines provided by the Brand Manager. Keyword research tactics will continue to evolve based on Amazon's system.
  4. Bid Management
    : Adjust bids and monitor keyword performance to ensure that campaigns stay within the budget and meet performance goals.
  5. Brand Analytics Reports/Analysis
    : Generate and analyze brand performance reports to measure the effectiveness of PPC campaigns and make data-driven adjustments.
  6. Performance Monitoring
    : Track and report on PPC campaign performance, providing regular updates and analysis to the Brand Manager.
  7. PPC Audits
    : Conduct audits of active PPC campaigns to assess their performance and make recommendations for improvements.
  8. Amazon Placement Tracking Audits (Organic and Sponsored)
    : Regularly audit and track Amazon placements for both organic and sponsored ads to ensure campaigns are optimized for maximum visibility and ROI.
  9. Negative Targeting (DEF)
    : Manage negative targeting and optimize off-campaign strategies to reduce wasted spend and improve overall campaign performance.
  10. Daily PPC KPI Tracker
    : Maintain a daily PPC KPI tracker to monitor campaign metrics such as ACoS, TACoS, CTR, conversion rates, and spend efficiency.
  11. A/B Testing
    : Assist with setting up A/B tests for ad creatives and keywords, analyzing results, and reporting findings to the Brand Manager.
  12. Reporting
    : Create and maintain regular reports on PPC campaign performance, including key metrics and KPIs, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  13. Data Communication:
    Ability to proactively recognize positive and negative trends, communicate them clearly to the team, and begin working on the appropriate next steps without waiting for direction.
  14. Budget Management
    : Manage daily and monthly budget allocations for PPC campaigns, ensuring spend is aligned with the overall strategy.
  15. Collaboration
    : Work closely with the Brand Manager and other team members to ensure PPC campaigns align with overall marketing and business goals.
  16. Account Performance Audits
    : Conduct regular audits of PPC campaigns to ensure they are meeting set standards and identify areas for improvement.
  17. Market Trend Analysis
    : Stay informed on the latest trends in Amazon advertising and incorporate new strategies as needed to enhance campaign effectiveness.
  18. Competitor Analysis
    : Monitor competitor activity and adjust PPC strategies to stay competitive within the market.

Performance Metrics
:

  • Successfully support brand growth within target metrics across
    multiple
    brands.
  • Accurate and timely completion of PPC tasks (e.g., campaign creation, optimization, reporting).
  • Improvement in key PPC metrics (ACoS, CTR, conversion rates) as a result of optimization efforts.
  • Regularly updated campaign performance reports with actionable insights.

Qualifications
:

  • Experience
    : 3+ years of experience in managing Amazon PPC campaigns with budgets totaling over $100,000 per month.
  • Knowledge
    : Strong understanding of Amazon's advertising platform, including Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Sponsored Display ads.
  • Skills
    :
  • Proficient in analyzing PPC campaign performance and generating insights.
  • Ability to manage multiple PPC campaigns simultaneously with attention to detail.
  • Experience using Amazon advertising tools and analytics platforms like Sellermate, Perpetua, Keepa, Helium 10, Sellics, or similar tools.
  • Communication
    : Strong verbal and written communication skills to provide clear reports and updates to the Brand Manager + Director.
    B2+ English level required.
  • Team Player
    : Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Brand Managers and other specialists.
  • Ability to work 4 hours a day(M-F) on MST/CST Timezones
