**Finance Architect Lead Analyst**

The Finance Architect is an important contributor in Citi’s Architecture & Innovation team. With a global remit, they will sit within the business, supporting the Senior Architect Lead, to act as a bridge between the businesses’ vision and working with technology to deliver on the vision, for the benefit of the function and the enterprise. The roles remit will be focused on supporting the Planning pillar of work. This is one of four pillars of work across the FTO: Reporting, Planning, FRM and Books & Records.

They will have a strategic mindset, to help develop the ongoing strategy within their function and will be able to support their Senior Finance Architect’s vision and Finance Architect Analysts they lead.

The Finance Architect Lead will be situated within a core team, comprising of a Senior Finance Architect Lead, Finance Architects and Finance Architect Analysts each bringing expertise from a wide range of industries - not just banking - to ensure true diversity in mindset and culture that is essential for creative and execution excellence at this level. With their Finance and Business partners, they will collaborate to deliver the vision for the pillar they support in the short and long term that serves all stakeholders and reinforces Citi as an industry leader.

They will support the wider FTO in driving change in culture, risk and controls, architecture and technology, data, and communication. They love to challenge the status quo and have track record of successfully disrupting the “way its always been done” and delivering what good looks like.

**Responsibilities**:

- Drives finance transformation and data & analytics product innovations in Citi’s finance portfolio helping to build the bank of the future and strengthening data driven decision-making.
- Acts as a bridge between business and technology to ensure that strategies and solutions are coherent and positioned to solve the right problems, in a timely fashion.
- Responsible for researching, analyzing, designing, proposing, and delivering solutions that support and enhance business and technologies strategies.
- Reviews, advises, and designs standard software and hardware builds, system options, risks, costs versus benefits, and impact on the enterprise business process and goals.
- Provides technical guidance to project team areas as appropriate.
- Interfaces across several business areas, acting as visionary to proactively assist in leveraging enterprise capabilities and services.
- Develops architecture, strategy, planning, and problem solving solutions on an enterprise level.
- Interfaces with vendors to assess their technology and to guide their product roadmap based on Citi requirements.
- Exhibits knowledge of how Finance Transformation contributes to the business.
- Demonstrates an in depth understanding of how own sub function integrates within the overall technology function to achieve objectives; requires a good understanding of the industry.
- Provides evaluative judgment based on analysis of information in complicated, unique and dynamic situations; draws on diverse range of internal and external sources.
- Influences and negotiates with senior leaders (across functions); may communicate with external parties.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree and 7 years of relevant work experience
- Experience with design and development of system architecture; systems hardware and software design and development; system integration and test; information assurance
- Knowledge of Agile development, DevSecOps practices, APIs and microservices
- Experience in working with architects across all architectural domains
- Business capability modeling
- Experience and knowledge of Financial Systems/Processes preferred, but not required
- Analytical mindset to resolve issues in a variety of complex situations
- Be able to pay attention to details while keeping the higher goal in mind
- Collaborative and be able to motivate, empower, challenge, and stimulate their team
- Strong communications (written, verbal and interpersonal) skills, including tact, diplomacy, and ability to influence senior executives
- Experience in supporting transformation projects and organizational change initiatives
- Excellent quantitative and qualitative skills; being able to analyze data, draw conclusions, identify trends and issues, and diagnose root cause of issues
- Proven experience in providing quality control and oversight to a portfolio of projects.
- Track record of success in delivering high quality work in a fast paced and dynamic environment
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
- Advance English is required

**Education**:

- Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
