Huntsman is searching for an Accounts Payable Analyst for our growing business based out of Heredia, Costa Rica.

Coordinate and prepare documents, valuation of work, etc. to support the Company's Accounts Payable processes.

In summary, as the Accounts Payable Analyst, you will be:
Principal Accountabilities:

- Review and analyze AP inquires or escalations from internal and external process.
- Support issue resolution for potential duplicates or entries processed by mistake into AP accounts.
- Perform AP accounts reconciliation.
- Reconcile vendor statements, research, and correct discrepancies.
- Assist in month-end closing Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices.
- Comply with all internal control procedures to ensure accurate financial records, particularly in relation to Corporate Delegation of Authority policy.
- Assist with other projects as needed and performs other related work as assigned by management related to providing support to AP Operations.
- Identify, work on, and propose continuous system and process improvements to enhance services delivery.

Education
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, engineering, or other area related.
- 2+ years of experience in the area.
- Fluent spoken and written English. Any other language is a plus.
- ERP systems such as SAP & Ariba systems knowledge is a big plus.
- Customer focus, problem solving and analytical thinking.
- Initiative & proactive
- MS Office Suite
- Experience in Manufacturing Industry (preferred)
