Intelligent Automation Developer

The Developer will work together with the Subject Matter Experts and Business Analyst, to use the tools to create the automation sequence (code creation) that will support a specific task or process, including (but not limited to) Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Power Platform, Power BI, Excel macros, Robocorp and other Emerson IT-approved automation tool standards, with a heavy emphasis of their time invested in Power Automate Cloud and Power Automate Desktop development.

Will also interact with a community of other automation developers and Technical Leads at the Measurement Solutions, Automation Solutions and Emerson levels to ensure this role is aligned to our single global standards of tool selection, design, development, implementation, and support. Along with the Subject Matter Expert, will generate the related documentation required to record the process in conjunction with the business champions and Technical Leads and will collaborate to collect and document lessons learned for the execution of knowledge transfer as well.

Will train the Subject Matter Expert in Automation tools if needed. Will support and generate documentation of the Automation routines performed according to the Intelligent Automations Team guidelines. Will test the Business Continuity Plan generated by the Subject Matter Expert to validate Continuity of the actions to be taken. Will support and give opinion on the Maintenance and Cost model defined for the automation tools.

Set clear expectations with customers, employees and sister organizations and then meet those expectations. Validates with process owners, other Center of Excellence teams and an end-to-end business validation upon completion of development effort.

**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE**

**EDUCATION**
- BA/BS university degree desired.
- At least 3 years of automation development experience required.
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal.

**EXPERIENCE / SKILLS**
- Knowledge and demonstrated experience of Power Automate Cloud is required.
- Power Platform Certifications are a plus.
- Knowledge and demonstrated experience in Automation for Shared Services (Robotic Process Automation) is preferred.
- At least 2 years of related experience in IT or related areas preferred, which may include:

- Experience in Visual Studio.NET technologies like C#,.Net 4.5 or greater,.NET Core, ADO.NET, XML, Web Services, Azure, SQL Server technologies a plus.
- Experience in developing solutions with Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Graph, Microsoft Power Automate, Microsoft Power Apps.
- Proficient at dealing with all levels of the organization in a constructive, productive fashion
- Strong verbal, written and presentation communications abilities
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, project tracking and conceptual skills
- Attention to detail and able to manage data accurately
- Exceptional customer service orientation
