**BAT COSTA RICA IS LOOKING FOR A SR. FINANCE ANALYST**

**SENIORITY LEVEL**:Non-Manager

**FUNCTION**: Finance

**SALARY RANGE**:Competitive Salary + Excellent benefits + Market leading bonus

**LOCATION**:Heredia, Costa Rica

**ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES**

**Reports to**:Finance Manager

**Reporting Level**:No direct reports

**Geographic Scope**:USA

**WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR**
- Active participation in the forecast exercise on topics related to Product Cost.
- Prepare Operations overheads monthly analysis and follow up with key stakeholders on main variances
- Support preparation of Business Cases (by project, by area)
- Prepare all product materials variance analysis, providing preliminary results to the Sr. team
- Prepare and follow up of key performance indicators for Operations teams
- Support preparation of Product Costing variations (actual vs forecast) by Combustibles and New Categories
- Coordinate with key stakeholders the main assumptions input in the system for forecast purposes
- Prepare analytics to the organization that highlights business risks and opportunities.
- Support identification of best practices and standardize where possible.
- Responsible for performance and documentation of various internal controls.
- Assist/lead special projects as needed.
- Support and participate in the material costing process.

**ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE**
- 2 years of experience in Accounting, Financial Analysis, or related area.
- Strong knowledge of finance / analytics.
- Demonstrate commercial acumen.
- Must demonstrate financial responsibility and reliability.****:

- Ability to think strategically, with strong influencing and leadership skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to perform under pressure and navigate through ambiguity
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- High proficiency in PC skills and detailed knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel and PowerPoint.
- Fluent in English.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related area.
