**BAT COSTA RICA IS LOOKING FOR A FINANCE ANALYST-ACCOUNTING**

**SENIORITY LEVEL**:Non-management

**FUNCTION**: DBS-Finance

**SALARY RANGE**:Competitive Salary + Excellent benefits + Market leading bonus

**LOCATION**:Heredia, Costa Rica

**ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES**

Responsible for the statutory and management accounting reporting processes, the reasonableness of the various financial reports and statements and supporting consolidated reporting package submission to BAT Headquarters.

**Reports to**:Sr. Corporate Finance Manager

**Reporting Level**:No direct reports

**Geographic Scope**:Canada

**WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR**
- Participate in the Record to Report functions inclusive of Intercompany transactions, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Reconciliations, Month and Year end Close activities.
- Participate in the Statutory & Financial Reporting, Management reporting, data integrity and quality.
- Participate in the preparation of financial analysis to enhance decision making.
- Optimizing the business units’ financial performance within the overall corporate strategy.
- Responsible for the preparation of various submissions of the management reporting requirements (legal financial statements) and external requirements (Statistics Canada).
- Review reconciliations performed by the Finance Shared Services Centre in Costa Rica.
- Actively participate in audits by both external (KPMG) and internal (BAT) auditors.

**CAN THIS BE YOUR FUTURE ROLE?**
- Do you have B2+/C1 English Level?
- Do you have 2-3 year of experience in similar positions?

**ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE**
- 2 to 3 years of relevant working experience.
- Influential and good interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Maintain a proactive attitude.
- Ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision and with tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office standard pack (Excel, Word, Access, Power Point).
- Very good command of English, spoken and written. (B2+/C1)
- Degree with professional accountancy qualification.

**BENEFICIAL**
- Knowledge of Canada and USA Local GAAP.
- Knowledge of BPC-SAP Systems.
