The Financial Planning and Analysis Senior Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for providing management with an analysis and insight of Citi’s financial results in coordination with the broader Finance team. The overall objective is to utilize in-depth disciplinary knowledge to generate and analyze reports as well as contribute to the development of new techniques to improve processes and work-flow. **Knowledge/ Work Experience Requirements** - Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Industrial Engineer or a related field with at least 6-10 years of relevant experience with more than 4 years of Planning and Analysis experience - Post graduate degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is desired - Understanding of Banking is preferred but not essential. Finance products and markets knowledge is required - Strong financial analysis foundation creating forecasts and models - Keen interest in business and economic environment - Bilingual: English and Spanish. - Medium - Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills. Knime and Tableau knowledge is a plus **Skill Requirements** - Ability to work independently as an individual contributor and show initiative/ proactivity to solve problems independently - Requires strong analytical skills and intellectual curiosity - Ability to challenge status quo, and lead opportunities to reengineer/streamline processes - Strong communication, diplomacy & presentation skills required to influence colleagues in other areas. - Ability to partner with senior stakeholders across businesses and geographies - Excellent time management and prioritization skills to manage multiple deliverables - Project management skills and attention to detail **Responsibilities**:** - Strong analytical support working with local FP&A teams and partners in US - Participation in time critical activities for FP&A teams (Quarterly Outlook, Annual budgeting etc) - Control and Monitoring of actuals results vs forward looking financials - Develop monthly decks for review with Senior Management, driving analytical insights - Manage the process of distributing expenses to lines of business - Drive standardization and automation of activities including the identification of productivity and efficiency - Collaborate with Risk & Control to ensure FP&A CR complies with local and global policies to mitigate risks - **Job Family Group**: Finance - **Job Family**: Financial Planning & Analysis - **Time Type**: Full time - Citi is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
