The Financial Planning and Analysis Senior Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for providing management with an analysis and insight of Citi’s financial results in coordination with the broader Finance team. The overall objective is to utilize in-depth disciplinary knowledge to generate and analyze reports as well as contribute to the development of new techniques to improve processes and work-flow. **Knowledge/ Work Experience Requirements** - Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Industrial Engineer or a related field with at least 6-10 years of relevant experience with more than 4 years of Planning and Analysis experience - Post graduate degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is desired - Understanding of Banking is preferred but not essential. Finance products and markets knowledge is required - Strong financial analysis foundation creating forecasts and models - Keen interest in business and economic environment - Bilingual: English and Spanish. - Medium - Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills. Knime and Tableau knowledge is a plus **Skill Requirements** - Ability to work independently as an individual contributor and show initiative/ proactivity to solve problems independently - Requires strong analytical skills and intellectual curiosity - Ability to challenge status quo, and lead opportunities to reengineer/streamline processes - Strong communication, diplomacy & presentation skills required to influence colleagues in other areas. - Ability to partner with senior stakeholders across businesses and geographies - Excellent time management and prioritization skills to manage multiple deliverables - Project management skills and attention to detail **Responsibilities**: - Strong analytical support working with FP&A partners in US and Mumbai - Consolidate financial results for US Personal Banking business - Understand in-depth how work is coordinated across areas and how it impacts the overall organization and bank strategies to make judgements and recommendations based on analysis - Drive financial conversation with finance partners & senior management - Participation in time critical activities for FP&A teams (Quarterly Outlook, Annual budgeting etc) - Work on Ad-hoc requests based on the business necessity. Specific activities include: - Development of materials for review with Senior Management - Drive analysis of key management review decks - Leading monthly and quarterly analytical insights. Focus will be addressing ad hoc strategic issues that are complementary to regular Planning and Analysis processes - Drive standardization and automation of activities including the identification of productivity and efficiency - Establish partnership with Mumbai to develop analytics that drive informed decision making - Collaborate with Risk & Control to ensure FP&A CR complies with local and global policies to mitigate risks - **Job Family Group**: Finance - **Job Family**: Financial Planning & Analysis - **Time Type**: Full time - Citi is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
