PMO Team Lead

The role:
The PMO Team Lead - xDC Scan Jose role is a leadership position that reports to the NORAM Service Office Leader. The PMO Team Lead is an influential member of the PMO leadership team accountable for driving the end-to-end quality of project management for engagements delivered by PMs in our San Jose, Costa Rica deliver center. S/He supervises and provides direction to PMs delivering on projects to ensure that each team member leads his or her customer engagements to successfully meet all scope, time, budget, quality and customer experience expectations. S/He supports project managers in resolving project issues and escalations and mentors and coaches PMs to ensure continuous improvement of project management and service delivery execution in accordance with our global pmONE Project Management Methodology. This role will be a member of a highly collaborative Service Office Leadership team, and will be responsible for driving continuous improvement and continued maturity of our Project Management capabilities at SoftwareONE.

**Role & Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate and partners with Service Line Delivery Leadership to ensure project delivery adheres to the strictest standards of excellence and projects are implemented with full compliance to the pmONE Project Management Methodology,
- Responsible for maintaining, supporting and improving on an on-going basis the execution of project governance within the framework of our pmONE Project Management Methodology.
- Responsible for developing and growing a high performance team. Complete, manage, and maintain Personal Development Plans for each direct report. Coach, mentor, train and otherwise support project managers in the fulfilment of their project support functions, to be delivered with their teams.
- Manage team and project portfolio performance including project health metrics and individual and team attainment of project profitability, utilization, chargeability, efficiency metrics and any other relevant KPIs.
- Up to 25% chargeability on delivery engagements depending on workload and capacity requirements.
- Maintain monthly/quarterly administrative and reporting requirements related to team operations.
- Ability to travel - estimated at 10%

What we need to see from you:
**Education**:

- Bachelor degree in project management, business administration, computer science, or another relevant degree
- Certifications relevant to Project Management, Service Management or Customer Success highly preferred

**Work Experience**:

- 10+ years of relevant project management experience
- Experience in dealing with customers and clients and providing a high degree of customer support, education, and service
- Experience in leadership, team management, people development and skills development
- Experience in all aspects of service management including, financial management, budget management, contract management, risk management, quality management, program management and reporting
- Experience with project management of technical solution implementation/deployments and managed services is highly desired
- Results based management experience is essential
- Able to work efficiently with mínimal direction
- Collaborative attitude

**Languages**:

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish
