SGF Global is looking for a Vendor Management, for IT enterprise in Heredia, Costa Rica.
**Overview**:
Investigate and document vendor SLAs, HW/SW support & software licensing entitlements, licensing allowances, deployment and use through annual research tied to Humana’s contracts, license agreements, life cycle management stages and consultation with Humana associates & manufacturers.
Facilitate IT & Business needs on selected vendors and products by ensuring that subscription, maintenance, support, and upgrade protection renewals are managed/handled/ordered in advance of their expiration. Ensure purchase orders are delivered, and invoices are paid.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
- Strong understanding of software licensing types, entitlement, and compliance
- Additional training or certification in asset, vendor, contract, risk, or supplier management
- 2+ year prior experience with general software licensing & compliance for maintenance, subscription, and SaaS products.
- 2+ years prior IT vendor, contract, or renewals experience.
- Prior IT software sales experience may fulfill a portion of this requirement.
- Experienced in facilitating negotiations with strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong working competency in Microsoft Office 365, especially Word and Excel (including Excel functions)
- English C1
- Full time (8h)
**Duties and Tasks**:
- Works with internal Humana associates to ensures products remain covered by active licenses, support, or subscription. Assists in terminations as directed by responsible parties.
- Discovers and recommends opportunities to improve software license utilization or maintain compliance
- Reviews license agreements and/or support/services contracts to ensure that products are covered by the contract and properly documented.
- Follows established processes, procedures, and guidelines
- Manages activity timelines based on renewal deadlines. Shows excellent judgement in ambiguous situations and requires mínimal direction. Asks for and accepts guidance where needed.
- Develops understanding of department, segment and organizational strategy as aligned to Vendor Management Office.
- Identify and negotiate savings opportunities for software renewals, licensing, and services; follow through with vendors and Humana internal personnel to obtain identified savings
- Negotiates savings, combining renewals to achieve additional savings and calculates annualized savings as appropriate.
- Assist Humana personnel in establishing and maintaining accurate entitlement records. Assess operational risks regarding Compliance with license terms and facilitate vendor-requested audit activities.
- Collect pertinent information and accurately maintain data repositories
