**Role profile**

**FUNCTION: R2P**

**SUB FUNCTION: AP Analytics**

**Role summary**

**What are the key objectives and expectations from this role?**

Manage relationship with our global suppliers through a standard way of working and monthly statement validation. Ensure all pending items are closed on time while working together with the responsible teams.

**Accountabilities**
- Balancing BAT payables to Global Strategic Suppliers receivables (using existing VBA macros and Celonis automation);
- Engaging with suppliers to negotiate deduction and cash collection on behalf of the Group.
- Exploring new data analytics and process mining technologies to establish and gain recognition for the Global AP Analytics function within DBS.
- Seeking a dynamic footprint on the end-to-end Receipt to Pay process.
- Acting as a communication role model in pushing the standardization, automation and simplification agenda.
- Performing monthly reports.
- Solving the issues addressed by suppliers via E-mail.
- Performing some analysis of the supplier’s accounting data.
- Attendance in the defining meetings for the vendor's portfolio.
- Escalation of problems when they arise.

**Experience, skills, knowledge**

**Experience Required**
- Accounts Payable
- Microsoft Excel
- PowerPoint presentation
- Excellent interpersonal skills both verbal and written in English.
- Partnership.
- Experience in a similar position could be an advantage, but it is not mandatory.

**Technical / Functional / Leadership Skills Required**
- Knowledge of SAP and MS Excel
- Problem solving and operational improvement skills
- Good command of English spoken and written
- Appreciation towards both internal and external partners
- Curiosity to understand BAT’s business and end market diversity
- Result oriented
- Ability to coordinate and handle time to perform tasks.
- Ability to quickly assimilate new information.
- Team spirit

**Education / Qualifications / Certifications Required**
- Bachelor’s degree

**Beneficial**
- Finance and accounting experience preferred
- Appetite for new technologies (ideally Celonis, Power BI)
