**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HSSE Lead Specialist to join our team. This is a key position that requires strong leadership skills, expertise in occupational health and safety, and excellent communication skills.

**Responsibilities:**
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive HSSE programs, policies, and procedures that meet or exceed industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments of facilities, equipment, and operations to identify potential hazards or unsafe conditions.
- Provide guidance and support to site personnel in the implementation of HSSE policies and procedures, promoting a proactive safety culture within the organization.
- Coordinate and conduct HSSE training programs for employees, contractors, and visitors as necessary, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Investigate and document incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and develop corrective action plans to prevent future occurrences.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop emergency response plans and ensure effective emergency preparedness measures are in place.
- Monitor and analyze HSSE performance metrics, identify trends, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement, driving excellence in safety performance across the organization.
- Stay up-to-date with local, state, and federal HSSE regulations and industry best practices, ensuring the organization remains compliant and competitive in the market.
- Conduct audits and inspections of facilities, processes, and systems to assess compliance with HSSE standards and guidelines, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.

**Requirements:**
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a relevant field.
- Professional certifications in HSSE, such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP), NEBOSH, or equivalent, are highly preferred.
- Proven work experience as an HSSE Specialist or similar role, demonstrating expertise in developing and implementing HSSE programs, policies, and procedures.
- Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal HSSE regulations and industry standards, with the ability to stay up-to-date on changes and developments in the field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels, from site personnel to executive management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify risks and develop effective mitigation strategies, driving continuous improvement in safety performance.
