Datasite is a leading provider of data rooms and SaaS technology used in M&A and other high-value transactions. As we continue to grow and expand into new markets, we need a skilled accounting professional to join our team as an Accounting Team Coordinator.

This role will be an integral part of our Accounting team, reporting directly to the Director, International & General Accounting. Your primary responsibilities will include coordination and communication with multiple teams within the Costa Rica location, as well as with third-party accounting services and corporate teams in the US.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of local statutory requirements and local taxes, with experience in verification and/or approval of transactions. You will also play a critical role in supporting the transition to our new Workday system and ensuring accurate reporting and results.

Key tasks in this role include:

  • Coordinating and communicating closely with third-party firms on multiple types of transactions related to Accounts Payable, Payroll, or T&E
  • Launching payments in the AP report, according to payments received from the Office Manager and third-party firms
  • CALCULATING AND VERIFYING ALL TAXES RECEIVED FOR PAYMENT FROM TMF
  • Reviewing and verifying monthly invoices for areas such as medical and dental plans, meal tickets, third-party firm's invoices, and credit card invoices (when applicable)
  • Approving all payments launched by TMF at bank

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent interpersonal skills, positive attitude, flexibility, and a desire to learn. Proficient computer, organizational, analytical, research, and problem-solving skills are also essential.
