Our team is a highly motivated group working to support our fast-paced and developing business, driving lift and loyalty for the world's leading CPG brands and retailers while also possessing the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and fostering a collaborative team environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and administering Catalina's global privacy compliance program, protecting our brand by identifying and reducing risk across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Input, update, and continually track and improve Catalina's data mapping function in OneTrust
- Participate in the drafting, maintaining, and updating of Catalina's Privacy Policy and related General Procedures
- Learn and assist with the administration of OneTrust to ensure the tool is continually improved and utilized fully
- Support the Data provider due diligence process, Third Party Assurance program, Client Assurance program, and DPIA's as required
- Stay up-to-date on GDPR, APPI, CCPA, CPRA, CPA, and other relevant privacy regulations
- Through analysis, deliver guidance to ensure consumer experiences and internal data collection are consistent with Catalina's privacy principles as well as applicable laws
- Encourage privacy best practices through consistent analysis, feedback, and follow-through with teams
- Periodically supports the review of Catalina's information systems to monitor for privacy compliance
- Work with other members of the GSAP team to ensure alignment between security and privacy compliance programs including policies, practices, investigations, and acts as a liaison to the information systems department
- Assist with the development, implementation, and delivery of privacy training to Catalina employees
- Support business initiatives regarding digitalization and mobility by ensuring proper privacy measures are implemented in the business solutions and related commercial contract terms
- Continue education and development to stay current regarding privacy regulations and best practices
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and experience commensurate with a bachelor's degree
- Ability to communicate, write, speak in English
- Proven knowledge of privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, APPI)
- Understanding of controls and risks in an international company
- Experience working in privacy, risk compliance, or audit
- Attention to detail, ability to maintain a process
- Strong ability to multi-task and problem-solve
- Strong work history with increasing responsibility over time
- Experience working with disparate teams and international employees and partners
- Strong ability to communicate effectively about the importance of privacy by design as a business differentiator and core value, beyond legal compliance
