Job Description

Citi seeks a skilled Operational Risk Sr Analyst to contribute to risk assessments and drive actions to address the root causes of operational risk losses.

Responsibilities
  • Contribute to risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate operational risk losses by challenging historical and proposed practices.
  • Provide governance and oversight for technology operational risk, including evaluating the control environment and ensuring appropriate controls are in place.
  • Coordinate audits, examinations, and deliverable requirements from internal and external reviewers to support project completion and special assignments.
  • Evaluate and ensure compliance with regulatory policies and procedures, as well as maintain the Operations Team's adherence to these guidelines.
Requirements
  • 5-8 years of relevant experience in Audit, Internal Audit, Compliance, or Operational Risk, preferably with advanced English language proficiency.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with customer-focused interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across diverse groups.
  • Demonstrated understanding of operational risk and gap identification, with the ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to present a compelling case to influence others where necessary, while maintaining independence of judgment and autonomy.
Education

Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience is required.
