As an AP Financial Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial processes.
You will be responsible for analyzing A/P invoices, coding them to the correct expense or G/L account, and producing general reports for operating teams.
In addition, you will process A/P invoices efficiently and accurately into Netsuite, ensure W-9s are complete and accurate, and assist with annual 1099 generation and submission.
You will also validate period and amount billed by vendors against our operating system and maintain accurate records.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Analyze A/P invoices and code to appropriate expense or other G/L account
- Assist in monthly balancing of accounts payable to general ledger
- Produce general reports for operating teams
- Process A/P invoices efficiently and accurately into Netsuite
- Evaluate W-9s for completeness and accuracy
- Assist with annual 1099 generation and submission
- Validate period and amount billed by vendors against operating system
**Requirements:**
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, or related field (preferred)
- At least 1 internship or related work experience/classes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Financial Systems
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
