About This RoleThis position requires an on-site presence and involves performing functions associated with executing Preventive/Corrective Maintenance of equipment used on the Test MFG process areas.
You will be responsible for ensuring the continuous improvement of maintenance activities, optimizing spare and part consumption, and maintaining healthy critical success indicators such as Preventive Maintenance Warranty and duration.
In addition to these tasks, you may also be required to provide support to the Manufacturing area when needed.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine and non-routine maintenance activities on equipment used in the Test MFG process areas.
- Continuously look for opportunities to improve the execution of maintenance tasks and optimize spare and part consumption.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and critical success indicators.
- Collaborate with the Manufacturing area to resolve issues and improve overall productivity.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- A High School Diploma and Technical Degree or Diploma; or advanced Bachelor's studies in Electronics, Electromechanical, Mechatronic, or related field.
- English language proficiency at B1 level (CEFR).
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a technician.
- The ability to work during weekends and nights.
- An unrestricted Costa Rican work permit.
If you have any of the following qualifications, it would be beneficial:
- Experience using metrology equipment.
- Problem-solving methodologies.
- Experience in visual inspection operations and defect validation and disposition.
- Proficiency in Windows software packages.
- Knowledge in Basic Statistical Process Control and Lot disposition tools.
- High Volume Manufacturing/Lab Environment Experience and Familiar with defect signature.
- Knowledge in process overview in Assembly and/or Test and Finish.
- Knowledge on Metrology, such as Reject Validation and Measurement/Inspection Equipment.
