LAN Infrastructure Support Specialist

The role of the Lan Infrastructure Support Specialist at Emerson involves ensuring the LAN Monitoring Service is fully operational and contributing to its improvement by providing feedback. This includes supporting Tier II and III level services for in-scope sites' LAN Infrastructure, with formal Service Level Agreements across multiple locations and countries.
Key responsibilities include maintaining backups of LAN equipment, Central LAN tools, and configurations, as well as preparing Root Cause Analysis reports for Severity 1 and 2 Incidents. The Lan Infrastructure Support Specialist will also be responsible for escalating LAN-related IT Service Desk tickets and acting as an interface between the Central Service customer and other IT groups or vendors when needed.
Additional duties involve creating and documenting LAN configurations, Bill of Materials, and topologies for new and existing sites in partnership with Provisioning and Service Engineering. Continual Service Improvement requires collaboration and active feedback to develop and improve LAN and Telephony solutions and design.
