About This Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven individual to join our team as an Accounts Payable - Finance Communications Analyst at Amazon Support Services Costa Rica Srl.
This role is part of our broader Finance and Global Business Services (FGBS) organization, which spans various finance functions, including Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), Accounting, Tax, and more.
The Corporate Accounts Payable team is accountable for managing payments to vendors for a substantial portion of Amazon's expenses, encompassing corporate expenses, Employee Expense reports, and Amazon Web Services.
Key Performance Indicators:
- Effectively manage and resolve vendor-impacting issues, including escalations management, critical vendors handling, Amazon system and process troubleshooting with suppliers, and root cause analysis to ensure timely resolution.
- Develop and leverage expertise in internal systems, departments, policies, and procedures.
- Demonstrate high standards of controllership and ethics while ensuring process and policies adherence, including Amazon guidelines, applicable local legislation, and vendor contracts.
- Evaluate and escalate internal control improvement opportunities.
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting and commerce (B. Com).
- At least 2 years of experience in finance operations/shared services, accounts payable, account receivable (collections) or general ledger.
- Advanced level of proficiency in Excel.
