We are seeking a highly skilled Site NPI Supervisor to lead our project teams and manage their workflow within a single Business Unit focused on a particular market segment. As part of the Business Unit Engineering leadership team, you will report directly to the Global NPI Manager and play a vital role in the successful execution of projects chosen and prioritized by the Business Unit Leader.
Main Responsibilities
- Drive project teams towards achieving their goals, adhering to ATL values with customers and across the organization, while ensuring timely completion, scope adherence, and budget optimization.
- Collaborate with ATL resources within the Business Unit and the engineering management team to identify and address technology and competency gaps in ATL, focusing on:
- Creating comprehensive personnel training plans centered around the knowledge of surgical procedures, devices, and industry leaders in the target market.
- Developing an IR&D roadmap tailored to meet market demands and ATL capabilities.
- Leveraging engineers to develop innovative technical solutions for projects.
- Manage resource allocation and planning for projects, including identifying new resource needs and recruiting suitable candidates to fill those positions.
- Foster strong relationships with various departments to resolve issues obstructing project teams' progress and assist Regional Sales Managers and BUL in developing detailed project proposals with customers, encompassing clear scope, schedule, and cost information.
- Maintain open communication with management regarding project performance and employee metrics, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Cultivate a collaborative work environment through interactions with cross-functional teams, including other NPI managers and functional teams, to establish consistent expectations for direct reports and provide essential support, training, and resources for their success.
- Promote ongoing learning and skill development among the team, focusing on areas relevant to the business unit customer base and market use cases.
- Closely monitor and report on business unit KPIs, quickly addressing deviations and acknowledging achievements.
- Enhance daily operations by acquiring a deep understanding of tools and processes utilized by team members, identifying opportunities for improvement.
