Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Strategic Human Resources Advisor to join our team at Edwards Lifesciences. In this role, you will serve as a strategic advisor to management and employees in internal communications, social responsibility, and diversity, equity, and inclusion work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise Business Operations Leadership on the utilization and implementation of HR programs
  • Lead special projects and provide input for strategic activities for assigned client groups
  • Identify critical HR metrics and new business strategies and talent issues before they affect the business
  • Understand the communication needs of large client groups to align with company strategy
  • Generate strategic relationships with the community and interest groups to align business strategy with community needs
  • Advise and coach leadership on various business issues that impact talent and/or business operations

Education and Experience:

A Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of previous related Human Resources experience are required, including internal communications, social responsibility programs, and diversity equity and inclusion.

Additional Skills:

  • Proven expertise in MS Office Suite and HR systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills, including consultative and relationship management skills
  • Strong leadership skills with demonstrated ability to influence change
  • Proven success adhering to and leading project schedules and managing projects
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills
  • Able to read, comprehend, write, and speak English
  • Substantial problem-solving, organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships across the organization
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to manage internal and external confidential information with utmost discretion
  • Must be able to work in a team environment, including inter-departmental teams, assigned client groups, and key contacts representing the organization on contracts or projects
  • Ability to interact with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations
