Viant Medical is seeking an experienced Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join their team. This role will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of manufacturing and facilities equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize equipment downtime.
- Collaborate with the Facilities/Maintenance Manager to design and implement improvements to equipment and facilities.
- Supervise and train Facilities and Maintenance Technicians to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Analyze and resolve issues related to equipment operation, including identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electromechanical Engineering.
- 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a medical device manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Knowledge of ISO 13485:2003 and CFR 820 CGMPs.
- Bilingual skills (Intermediate level of Spanish and English).
