**The Mission of the Manufacturing Engineer III is**:
To provide engineering support to production through improvement or implementation of methods, processes, fixtures, and tools.
Additionally, will lead strategic projects and initiatives to create cost savings and continuous improvement projects.
**What you will be doing?
**

Plans and undertakes Equipment preventive maintenance activities: scheduled maintenance, supervising maintenance staff, diagnose faults and respond to breakdowns, create maintenance procedures, managing stocks of suppliers and equipment.
Develops test schemes, electromechanical fixtures, and devices, with programming microcontrollers or PLCs.
Thinks critically to improve production efficiency and turn-around time.
Measures parts, creates prototypes, tests parts.
Supports CAPA, SCAR, NCMR and pFMEA activities.
Supports Equipment and production line validation activities.
Produces and reviews product documentation including manufacturing work instructions, drawings, proposals, and technical reports.
Performs and / or supervises testing, data collection and analysis, research, and prototype creation.
Lead initiatives to create savings and continuous improvement projects.
Perform layout changes and workstations development and implementation.
2D CAD, 3D CAD design and drawing support using SolidWorks is preferred.
**What we expect from you.
**

Strong writing skills creating documentation as mandated by ISO 13485, FDA or similar regulations where intimate knowledge of the regulation or standard is required

Demonstrable team-leadership experience in product development, manufacturing processes, and development of electrical and mechanical devices; performance of new technology research; creation of product documentation, product testing protocols, and test reporting.
Extensive background manufacturing processes, quality processes, and documentation of highly regulated (medical or similar) products

Experience transitioning/supporting domestic and offshore manufacturing

Experience leading teams and conducting/documenting process validations, troubleshooting, and technical risk analysis activities.
