This role is part of the internal IT support and operations team in a Microsoft-centric environment, responsible for service desk support and daily IT operations while ensuring consistent and timely ticket resolution.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Provide expert-level support for the IT service desk queue and system alerts/logs
  • Collaborate with other departments to review and analyze hardware, software, and service needs
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the organization

Qualifications:

Required Education and Experience:

  • Post-secondary education in a relevant field or an acceptable combination of education and experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an IT Analyst or similar role

Essential Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a passion for learning new skills and technologies
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills, positive attitude, and ability to present complex technical information clearly
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to self-direct, multi-task, and function well under pressure

Technical Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience supporting Windows desktop and server environments (MacOS a plus)
  • 5+ years of experience supporting LAN/WAN, firewalls, Microsoft HyperV, Azure AD, Office/365, Teams, SharePoint, Exchange, Active Directory, PowerShell
  • 5+ years of experience implementing and administering Microsoft cloud services and products
  • Knowledge and experience with cybersecurity best practices and incident handling (certification a plus)
  • Knowledge and experience with ITIL framework (certification a plus)
