**Job Summary:**
As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for leading technical contributions to project development, ensuring client and organizational needs are met through effective communication, implementing best practices, and adhering to our established development process while promoting continuous improvement and professional growth.
**Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and meet the information needs of stakeholders and team members.
- Ensure that the team delivers high-quality project deliverables within the expected timeframe.
- Maintain up-to-date code tests aligned with changes made by developed components.
- Determine data storage, processing, and transmission requirements based on analyzed needs.
- Ensure compliance with agreed-upon development standards and processes.
- Collaborate with the team to define the development process.
- Coordinate with the architecture lead to establish development standards based on design principles and best practices, ensuring quality, efficiency, and maintainability.
- Transfer knowledge to other project team members and client vendors.
- Lead defect analysis to identify causes and implement corrections.
- Direct the analysis of project requirements.
- Design and implement unit, integration, and system testing.
- Oversee the design of software components integrated into the system, implementing analyzed requirements.
- Participate in component implementation.
- Lead effort estimation for implemented requirements.
- Direct the integration of developed components with the rest of the system (Front End - Back End integration, APIs).
- Serve as a reference for peer review of teammates' code.
- Define and follow processes for handling code in repositories.
- Verify the fulfillment of requirements and correct functioning of developed components.
Tech Skills:
- Git, Java Back-End expertise (Spring Cloud/Boot framework), AWS knowledge: at least Cognito, Lambdas, SQS, SNS, S3.
- Unit Testing (JUnit), integration testing (TestContainers)
- Relational and Non-Relational DBs (Modeling and Optimization, SQL proficiency a plus)
- Kubernetes knowledge is a plus, CI/CD Pipelines knowledge.
- React/NextJS knowledge is a plus.
- Serverless framework knowledge a plus.
- Proficient creating technical documentation (APIs, Architecture decision logs).
- Knowledge of microservice architectures, Application Integration Patterns.
- Knowledge of authentication, authorization, Single Sign On paradigms, platforms, and tools (Cognito, Auth0, Oauth2, JWT, OIDC)
Soft Skills:
- Proactivity, initiative, coordination.
- Responsibility and ownership of initiatives.
- Excellent written and verbal communication with all parties involved (Business, Technical).
- Negotiation, understanding the big picture, scope management.
- Capacity to behave as a force multiplier for the team, helping other developers grow and become more effective.
- Capacity to work well with Product Managers (busines role with PM, PO, and BA capabilities) by being the technical reference point to guide business decisions.
Requirements:
- Academic Training:
- Technician or Baccalaureate in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent level of knowledge demonstrated.
- Certification of Scrum Fundamentals (desirable)
Language:
- Technical and conversational English level C1 according to the Common European Framework.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in software engineering (at least one year as Senior Developer)
