**Job Summary**
As a Strategic Sourcing Specialist at Emerson, you will play a critical role in executing sourcing initiatives that drive value for our organization. You will work closely with the category management team to provide sourcing support and enablement, conduct award scenario analysis, and utilize procurement systems to execute sourcing.
**Responsibilities**
- Execute RFx processes, including requests for information, proposals, quotes, and bids to support the category management team
- Conduct detailed award scenario analysis to inform decision-making by the category management and analytics teams
- Collaborate with the sourcing and category management teams to identify opportunities for negotiation improvement
**Skills and Qualifications**
- A Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Finance, Operations, or similar is essential
- 2+ years of experience in procurement operations, global sourcing, supplier management, commodity risk management, strategic planning, budgeting, and financial reporting etc. is essential
- An advanced course/ Master's Degree and/or professional certifications in Procurement, Technology, Strategy, and/or Project management will be highly valued
