Senior Collector

Auxis seeks a highly skilled and experienced Senior Collector to join our team as an Appeals Resolution Specialist. In this critical role, you will be responsible for pursuing additional payment on open appeals through various means of communication.

• Pursue additional payment on open appeals via telephony, online, or payment package processes with payers and patients.
• Overcome objections that prevent payment of the claim.
• Gain commitment for payment through concise and factual collection techniques.
• Evaluate accounts with lack of timely payer response and escalate them to appropriate individuals at the payer and SSC management.
• Communicate trends to management as identified.
• Maintain effective documentation standards to support a strong historical record of actions taken on accounts.
• Meet productivity and quality standards of the organization.

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• Bilingual skills in English and Spanish (oral and written), with a proficiency level of B2+ or above.
• A high school diploma.
• At least one year of experience in customer service or back-office positions.
• The ability to adjust your local schedule during Daylight Saving Time changes in the Eastern Time Zone.
• A genuine interest in working with and helping customers.
• Excellent communication skills and involvement.
• Demonstrated experience in providing high levels of customer satisfaction and performance in a high-transaction volume/high-demand environment.
• Good presentation and a polite, tactful, and friendly character.

$65,000 - $75,000 per annum, based on location and experience.
