Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Billing Team Lead to join our Experian team in Costa Rica. As a key member of our financial operations team, you will be responsible for the effective supervision and administration of the billing team, including performance management, employee relations, training, and assigning work and related activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain relevant systems, internal calls, and invoice logs with status updates, follow-up details, and any other relevant information related to billing.
  • Provide leadership, expertise, and guidance to the billing analysts to enable them to provide timely and accurate services and responses to queries.
  • Create reports and metrics to improve control of the processes and support management decisions.
  • Proactively communicate with the team to ensure continuous awareness and understanding of policies and regulations.
  • Conduct regular one-on-ones with direct reports to review individual performance, the performance of their team, and offer ongoing developmental coaching.
  • Create a positive work environment through employee engagement; resolve employee relation issues in a professional and timely manner.

Requirements

  • 5 years of related billing experience.
  • 2-3 years in leadership roles.
  • Advance studies in business administration, finance, or a related field.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Fluent spoken and written English.
  • Strong knowledge of billing procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong numeric aptitude.
  • Ability to work within a team environment.
  • ERP systems such as Oracle and SAP systems.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite.
