About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Procurement Manager to join our team at Selina in San José, Costa Rica. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing sourcing, purchasing, and supply chain management across multiple properties within your assigned region.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute procurement strategies for multiple countries and properties.
- Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure optimal terms.
- Oversee the complete purchasing process, from supplier selection to delivery, ensuring alignment with budget and quality standards.
- Work closely with the Finance and Operations teams to support demand forecasting and budget planning.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and local regulations.
- Implement and support inventory control systems to improve procurement efficiency.
- Participate in internal audits related to procurement and supply chain processes.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings, improving procurement efficiency across the properties.
- Provide regular reports on procurement activities and performance metrics.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of procurement experience, ideally within the hospitality industry and in multi-property environments.
- Strong understanding of inventory management processes and strategies.
- Excellent negotiation, vendor management, and contract management skills.
- Fluency in English and Spanish is required.
- Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage several countries and properties.
