About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and certified Tour Guide to join our team in Guanacaste, Costa Rica. As a Tour Guide, you will be responsible for leading groups and individuals through historical sites, museums, geographic destinations, and outdoor excursions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Guiding one-day excursions, shore excursions, and multi-day tours, providing engaging and relevant information to guests.
  • Leading natural history and cultural interpretation tours, highlighting points of interest and answering questions from the group.
  • Ensuring guest comfort and well-being throughout the tour.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A certification or license as a General Tour Guide from the Costa Rica Tourism Board.
  • Experience in the tourism industry, preferably in a similar role or administrative career.
  • Excellent communication skills, with fluency in verbal and written English.
  • Microsoft Office knowledge and ease with technology.
  • A proactive approach, with a focus on quality and efficiency.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
