We are seeking an experienced Construction Operations Support Specialist to join our team at Gensigma Llc.
About the RoleThis is a full-time, remote position that requires strong project management skills and experience in construction operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating with our construction team to analyze building or property needs, allocating responsibilities, determining resources, and ensuring deadlines are met.
Responsibilities- Analyze building or property needs and develop strategies to address them
- Allocate responsibilities among team members and ensure timely completion of tasks
- Determine required resources, including manpower, equipment, and materials
- Plan and schedule construction operations to meet deadlines
- Acquire necessary equipment and materials and monitor inventory levels
- Supervise laborers, mechanics, and other team members
- Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager or Civil Engineer (5+ years)
- In-depth understanding of construction procedures and project management principles
- Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards
- Good knowledge of MS Office and construction/project management software
- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- A team player with leadership abilities
- BSc/BA in Civil Engineering, Building Science, or relevant field (required)
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including night shifts
