The Construction Category Manager will be responsible for all supply chain activities associated with construction and facilities management scopes within Intel's Latin America Region which includes Costa Rica and Mexico.
The person will deliver results associated with and measured against the Global Facilities Strategic Sourcing charter.
**Behavioral traits**:
- Strong stakeholder partnering and negotiation skills.
- Strong organizational, high level of detail orientation, and efficient time management skills.
- Excellent data analytical skills, with the ability to break complex problems into smaller components for resolution.
- **Qualifications**
**Minimum qualifications**:
- Bachelor´s in Supply Chain Management, Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Architecture, Engineering or related.
- 5+ years of related experience in Supply Chain management, commodity management, contracts management, or construction project management.
- Proven track record of supply chain, supplier management knowledge applied to benchmarking concepts.
- Strong knowledge of the local/regional market in relation to industry trends and norms.
- 5+ years of experience working with suppliers, business partners, and upper management.
- Advanced English and Spanish level.
- This position will require international travel (10%).
**Preferred qualifications**:
- Master's degree is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of the market in relation to industry trends and norms in Mexico.
