**Job Description:**

The AP Business Partner position plays a crucial role in supporting our Accounts Payable function. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for various accounting and accounts payable tasks, ensuring seamless processing of invoices, vendor management, and financial reporting.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Compare purchase orders, prices, terms of payment, and other charges

- Handle accounts payable for separate entities and vendors

- Monitor all vendor payment agreements to find discounts that can be used to reduce invoice amounts

- Investigate and resolve problems associated with the processing of invoices

- Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing vendors

- Focus on the oversight, administration, and review of all invoicing activities, including invoice approvals, vendor payment management, contract review, root cause analysis

- Comply with internal control evaluations

- Ensure proper vendor reconciliation through monthly statements and related transactions

- Responsible for proper coding of invoices

- Assist Accounts Payable Leadership with monthly metrics reporting

- Analyze current procedures and recommend changes to develop and implement best practice accounting procedures

- Perform 2 and 3-way matching

- Contact vendors promptly on disputes to ensure quick resolution

- Assist during the annual audit by providing accounts payable documentation upon request

- Participate in Month End Financial Closings

- Manually match invoices to receipts when required

- Maintain and update vendor files within the accounting software

- Document and update current SOPs

- Assist team members from other areas on the P2P process

- Train new team members of the AP team on the processes and systems/tools used

- Lead and participate in projects as assigned (process improvement and others)

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

**Technical Requirements:**

- 3+ years of effective working knowledge of all accounts payable processes and procedures

- Bachelor's degree in business administration in Accounting or Accounting (or in progress)

- Strong verbal and written communication skills

- Advanced skills with Microsoft Office, especially Excel

- Strong market knowledge and experience in working across various functions, businesses, and regions

- Knowledge of Coupa

- Knowledge of US GAAP is a plus

- Knowledge of Netsuite is a plus

- English level B2+, C1
