Job Description:


We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Accountant to lead our financial team. The ideal candidate will have exceptional organization and communication skills, with the ability to manage internal stakeholders and end users.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Post daily accounting entries based on transactions of the company.
  • Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
  • Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results.
  • Analyze financial information and summarize financial status.
  • Prepare monthly cashflows in accordance with the budgets.
  • Prepare financial statements and produce a budget according to schedule.
  • Assist with tax audits and tax returns.
  • Coordinate and manage external audits to ensure compliance.
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes.


Qualifications:


To be successful in this role, you will need:



  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related fields along with Formal Finance or Accountancy qualifications/certifications (ACCA, ACA, CIMA etc.).
  • Professional fluency in English is essential, both written and spoken.
  • Several years of experience in an accounting/finance function, ideally within a training/educational business environment.
  • Experience working in a matrix organization - functional reporting and partnering with stakeholders.
  • Exceptional organization and communication skills to manage internal stakeholders and end users.
  • Adaptable personality and technical skills, detail-oriented and analytical thinking, and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (mainly Microsoft Excel).
