Position Overview

As a Medical Value Partner in the Field, you will play a pivotal role within the Squad, spearheading the formulation and execution of the medical strategy aligned with the overarching brand strategy. Your efforts will focus on enhancing patient outcomes through timely diagnosis and treatment, establishing Roche as the preferred partner among stakeholders, and fostering access through a customer-centric approach.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead the medical dimensions of the local brand and therapeutic area strategy, ensuring it aligns with the Global strategy and the aspirations of Personalized Healthcare (PHC), while adapting to local contexts, including challenges, gaps, opportunities, and patient needs.
  • Contribute to the access and commercial elements of the integrated strategy.
  • Define clear medical objectives.
  • Be a key contributor to the value proposition.
  • Actively participate in creating comprehensive, impactful programs that encompass education, scientific communication, evidence generation tactics, and collaboration with both internal and external customers.
  • Establish yourself as a trusted partner recognized for your expertise and the high quality of value you deliver.
  • Engage with customers in a centric manner.
  • Serve as an ambassador for Roche in strategic, above-brand initiatives.
  • Maintain a holistic perspective of Roche, inspiring and shaping the environment.
  • Engage meaningfully with relevant global and regional communities, sharing experiences and participating in working groups, while advocating for the value of networks and collaboration.

Qualifications:

  • Medical degree with experience in the pharmaceutical industry, particularly in medical roles similar to this one.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of inspiring and influencing others.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Collaborative team player, adept at prioritizing in dynamic environments, with a strategic mindset and results-oriented approach.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Desirable: proficiency in Real World Evidence (RWE), digital engagement tools, experience with agile methodologies, and cross-functional teamwork.
  • Valued: knowledge in Real World Evidence (RWE) and digital tools.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 60% of the time.
