Medical Strategy Specialist

The Role
At Roche, we are seeking a Medical Value Partner to lead the development and implementation of our medical strategy, ensuring better outcomes for patients by being timely diagnosed and treated, becoming the preferred choice of our stakeholders, and supporting access through customer centricity.
Main Responsibilities
- Craft the medical aspects of our brand/therapeutic areas local strategy, ensuring alignment with our Global strategy and Personalized Healthcare (PHC) aspiration, tailored to local context.
- Contribute to access and commercial components of the integrated strategy.
- Define medical objectives clearly.
- Be a key contributor to the value proposition.
- Participate actively in generating comprehensive, articulated, and impactful programs, including education, scientific communication, evidence generation tactics, and customer (internal + external) collaboration.
- Be a preferred partner, recognized as an expert and reliable, bringing high-quality value.
- Be customer-centric in interactions.
- Ambassador for Roche in strategic, above brand areas.
- Have a holistic view of Roche, inspiring and shaping the environment.
- Engage meaningfully with relevant global and regional communities, participating actively and advocating the value of networks and collaboration.
Requirements
- A Medical degree, with experience in the pharma industry, preferably in medical areas in similar positions, and meeting the following requirements.
- Strong communication skills, able to inspire and influence.
- Fluent in English.
- Collaborative, team-worker, able to focus and prioritize in uncertain and changing environments, strategic mindset, results-oriented.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Desirable: skilled in Real World Evidence (RWE), digital tools for customer engagement, experience in working with agile methodologies, experience in working in cross-functional teams.
- Valued: knowledge in Real World Evidence (RWE), digital.
