Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Pricing Strategist to join our team. As a key member of our pricing team, you'll play a crucial role in developing and negotiating profitable pricing strategies, budgets, and estimates for professional services matters.

Key Responsibilities

You'll be responsible for:

1. Negotiating directly with clients or supporting partners in client conversations and negotiations
2. Strategizing with our Business Development team and attorneys to develop pricing for RFP and pitch responses
3. Educating partners on best pricing and legal project management practices to improve profitability
4. Monitoring performance of budgets, fee estimates, and alternative fee arrangements to ensure timely corrective actions
5. Providing analysis, reporting, and recommendations in support of annual timekeeper rate setting and revenue planning process
6. Developing tools and processes to enhance our pricing and legal project management capabilities

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• Completion of college-level accounting classes or a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related Business Intelligence field
• 2-4 years of relevant experience in a finance department, preferably in a legal services environment
• Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including creating and editing macros in VBA
• T-SQL programming experience in a Microsoft SQL Server environment, including creating stored procedures
• Experience with Elite 3E or a similar financial system is a plus
