About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Executive Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for menu development, kitchen operations, and staff management. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Menu Development: Create innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends and cater to diverse tastes.
  2. Kitchen Management: Oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  3. Staff Leadership: Recruit, train, and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a positive work environment.
  4. Quality Control: Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation.
  5. Cost Management: Manage food and labor costs, develop budgets, and monitor financial performance.
  6. Supplier Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and procuring high-quality ingredients.
  7. Customer Interaction: Engage with guests to gather feedback and ensure customer satisfaction.
  8. Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure the kitchen complies with local, state, and federal health and safety regulations.
  9. Cultural Inclusivity: Utilize Spanish-speaking skills to communicate effectively with Spanish-speaking staff members and foster an inclusive kitchen environment.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Degree or certification in Culinary Arts or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within a high-volume, high-quality kitchen environment.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in Spanish and English is required.
  • Leadership: Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team.
  • Creativity: Strong culinary creativity with a passion for developing unique and exciting dishes.
  • Organization: Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Spanish and English.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in kitchen management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience.
