About the Role:
We are seeking a seasoned Executive Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for menu development, kitchen operations, and staff management. Key Responsibilities:
- Menu Development: Create innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends and cater to diverse tastes.
- Kitchen Management: Oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Staff Leadership: Recruit, train, and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a positive work environment.
- Quality Control: Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation.
- Cost Management: Manage food and labor costs, develop budgets, and monitor financial performance.
- Supplier Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and procuring high-quality ingredients.
- Customer Interaction: Engage with guests to gather feedback and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure the kitchen complies with local, state, and federal health and safety regulations.
- Cultural Inclusivity: Utilize Spanish-speaking skills to communicate effectively with Spanish-speaking staff members and foster an inclusive kitchen environment.
Qualifications:
- Education: Degree or certification in Culinary Arts or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within a high-volume, high-quality kitchen environment.
- Language Skills: Fluency in Spanish and English is required.
- Leadership: Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team.
- Creativity: Strong culinary creativity with a passion for developing unique and exciting dishes.
- Organization: Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Spanish and English.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in kitchen management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience.
