Your key responsibilities will include:
- Strategic Financial Leadership: Develop and implement the company's financial strategy, aligning with organizational objectives and growth goals.
- Financial Reporting & Analysis: Oversee the preparation of detailed financial reports and present findings and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Accounting Operations: Supervise and ensure the accuracy of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the budgeting process and provide accurate forecasting to guide financial planning and decision-making.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to financial laws, regulations, and internal policies while identifying and mitigating financial risks.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the Accounting team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
To be considered for this position, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification is highly preferred.
- Experience: 7+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the unique financial needs of the conference, events, or hospitality industries is a plus.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, mentor, and inspire teams to achieve organizational goals.
- Financial Acumen: Expertise in financial management, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
