**Job Overview:**

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Chef to join our culinary team at the AC Hotel San Jose Escazu in Costa Rica.

**Salary Range:** $40,000 - $60,000 per year (depending on experience).

**Job Description:**

The Executive Chef will be responsible for leading our kitchen team to deliver exceptional dining experiences to our guests. Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and cooking food according to recipes and quality standards;
  • Managing inventory and ordering supplies;
  • Maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment;
  • Developing and implementing new menu items and specials;
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a chef or executive chef;
  • Proven track record of success in managing kitchen teams and delivering high-quality food products;
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills;
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines;
  • Degree in Culinary Arts or related field preferred.
